Band Member Bios

Carl - Lead Vocals / Guitar

Carl has been playing and recording with bands since his mid-teens; singing and performing in original, cover and tribute bands. His musical career has taken him all around the UK, with excursions into Europe, and he loves travelling and playing new venues - which affords the opportunity to visit different places and meet new people. Carl comes from a predominantly rock background but has an appreciation of a wide range of musical genres and can adapt well to performing in many styles (especially useful for obscure first dance choices!).

Luke – Lead Guitar / BVs

Luke is the band leader/manager for ‘Radioactive’ and has been playing guitar since his late teen’s, completely self taught. Whilst Luke can nail most contemporary guitar styles, his influences come from the funkier players such as Nile Rodgers, Johnny Marr and John Frusciante. This funky sound, combined with bassist, Stu’s, infectious bass playing really gets people up and dancing.

Andy - Drums / BVs

Andy is the rhythmic backbone and tempo machine for Radioactive. He has a wealth of experience in original and function bands, once evening touring Japan with his original band ‘Fast Reaction’. Andy loves playing live and his high energy performances are guaranteed to bring any party to life.

Stu - Bass / BVs

Stu is a multi-instrumentalist who has been gigging in bands for over 15 years around the UK (and occasionally Europe). In Radioactive, he plays his favourite instrument, bass guitar, and loves nothing more than to see people dancing as he lays down some grooves. Stu has shared the stage at venues/festivals with The Magic Numbers, Dodgy, The Ordinary Boys, Nizlopi & Fenech-Soler and is currently fitting a Bachelor of Music degree into his busy schedule.
